The international Australian collaboration project, D-Stellar, serve up an eclectic blend of hip hop, electro, pop and rock. The duo began to fuse their creative forces in the summer of 2016, amalgamating and synthesising their respective Rock ’n’ Roll and Hip Hop worlds into an elaborate concoction of breathtaking sounds.
D-Stellar seamlessly combine head-banging, ass-shackin’ tunes, with an undeniable rhythmic flow of intelligent lyrical content and adventurous production that incorporates everything from nit-picks of classic old school hip hop, to Rock ’n’ Roll sliding guitars and 80’s electro-pop. Against a backdrop of production and live performance, whilst breaking the boundaries of multiple genres, they deliver a tangible and refreshing music experience and leave their audience salivating for more. The sum of their music represents a fusion of traditional concepts with otherworldly and experimental features.

Upon the verge of <img src="http://www.hardcoreclassic.com/images/046point.jpg" width="204" height="137" align="right" border="5" />launching both their new album, and their lost tapes compilation, 046 have released the final copies of the 1995 classic “<b>L.I.F.E</b>“. This is not a newly made re-release, but the final copies that had been held for safe keeping, making this your last chance to grab this defining moment in Australian Hip-Hop history. 046 “L.I.F.E.” is available now through <b>Hardcore Classic</b>distribution. Ex-DEF WISH CAST member DJ VAME appeared behind the decks on CAPITAL PUNISHMENTs “Sentenced 2 Def” six song tape, as well as on Campbelltown locals 046 (named after their area code) thirteen track CD “Life” released in 1995 – from Campbelltown 046 – LIFE CD – Ultra rare piece of Australian Hip-Hop history!!Released in 1995, the album is produced by DJ Vame (Def Wish Cast, Cannibal Tribe). Unused. A vital item for any Australian Hip-Hop collector! <p align="justify">Forming in 1989 as a seven man crew, and named after the regional telephone code for Sydney’s Southwest, 046 is best known as the Claymore based duo, consisting of <b>Brainstorm</b> (aka Tormentem) and <b>Devious</b>. The crew emerged alongside the forefathers of Australian Hip-Hop – such as <b>Just Us</b> and<b> Def Wish Cast</b>, and featured in numerous Australia wide tours and shows. <p align="justify">These connections brought about the production hook-up with Def Wish Cast member<b> DJ Vame</b>. The result was the 1995 album “<b>L.I.F.E</b>” (Legends In Full Effect). This was hardcore Hip Hop to it’s full. Vame’s rough production partnered with the lyricists raw delivery captured an energy and spirit rarely heard in today’s ‘safe’ Hip-Hop. The album put Campbelltown on the Australian /hip-Hop map, and influenced numerous younger emerging artists from the region. <p align="justify"><b><img src="http://www.hardcoreclassic.com/images/046austcover.jpg" width="88" height="137" align="right" border="5" /></b> <p align="justify">With Vame’s production, 046 became part of the larger <b>Dope Runner</b> crew alongside <b>Capital Punishment</b>. As a collective, Vame released the compilation/album “<b>Australiaz Most Wanted</b>” with assistant production by <b>Nayss</b>. The compilation featured remixes from the albums “LIFE” and “<b>Sentenced II Def</b>“, as well as fresh new tracks including the classic 046 and Capital Punishment collaboration, titled “<b>VOS</b>“. <p align="justify"><img src="http://www.hardcoreclassic.com/images/046posse.jpg" width="158" height="194" align="right" border="5" />After numerous tours and shows around the country, the duo began work on a follow up album with <b>DJ ASK</b>(<b>West Side Posse</b>/<b>Renegade Funktrain</b>) on production. To be title “<b>Retaliation</b>“, the project was unexpectedly cut short when ASK was drawn overseas to tour with Renegade Funktrain. With the album unmixed and indefinitely on hold, differences saw the duo spilt, and Tormentum began a long struggle with cancer. While the two stayed close, 046 was no more, and the two began appearing as soloists. <p align="justify">In the late 90s, Tormentum appeared on the “<b>Hidden Treasure</b>” compilation with a song titled “<b>Suspects</b>“. The Vame produced track featured Tormentum and original 046 member, <b>Son of Mad Dog</b>, as the duo <b>Gung Ho</b>, and included the first released verse by <b>Raw the Cannibal</b>, under the name <b>The Cannibal Tribe</b>. The Tribe returned the favour when Tormentum appeared for the track “<b>Remedy</b>” on their 1999 album “Misery”, while earlier, they collaborated on the cut “<b>The Last Run</b>” for the “<b>Basic Equipment</b>” soundtrack. <p align="justify">Devious began work in Hip-Hop workshops around the Campbelltown area, passing on his skills as one of Sydney’s most talented b-boys – and featured on the community project CD “<b>Cam(p)belltown</b>” with his solo cut “<b>Atcha</b>” produced by <b>Elee B</b>. <p align="justify">In 2003, the crew has returned, with 046 officially back in the studio working on a new album with production by <b>Thomas Rock</b>. But first, 046 are set to drop a collection of lost, and rare recordings – featuring their cuts from “Australiaz Most Wanted” and newly mastered “Retaliation”. 13th Son of December

13th Son – appeared on the compilation Culture of Kings volume 2, released in 2002. 13th Son released his debut 4 track EP ‘Always’ on Basic Equipment. Entirely produced by Sereck 13th Son, of Sydney collective Basic Equipment, is no stranger to Australian Hip Hop. He began MCing in 1992 as part of the group Industrial Dispute and just on<span class="text_exposed_show">e year later he was seen gracing the stage with the likes of Def Wish Cast, 046 and The Noble Savages all legends of the local scene then and now. His first release came shortly after with the Industrial Dispute cassette ’Industrial Strength’ (1994) and following that spent the next few years appearing at various gigs around town and making a name for himself with his flawless flow and sophisticated style.</span> By ’96 Industrial Dispute had changed its name to Fathom and really turned the heat up taking Sydney by storm with the ’97 release of ’The Beats from 20,000 Fathoms’ on cassette. A few more standout appearances on compilations and supporting many fine international acts including Latyrx , Blackalicious and Mystik Journeyman led to the demand for some solo material and in 2001 13th Son released his debut 4 track EP ’Always’ on Basic Equipment. Entirely produced by Sereck the EP was well received both in Australia and overseas and showed all that 13th Son could truly hold his own as a solo MC. The success and praise garnered by the EP led to a wide array of gigs and contributions to compilations such as “Culture of Kings 2” (Obese), “Straight from Art Vol 2” (Warner), “Airheads Vol 1” and “Airheads Vol 2” (Parallax View). He also appeared with the Down Under Beats Crew on their Triple J Unearthed winning LP “Hiphoperation “ and, along with fellow Sydney MC Brass, fronted live Sydney Hip Hop outfit Upshot. In 2006 13th Son released his debut full length solo effort ’The Hero; The Trickster’. The album was critically appraised with Stealth Magazine calling it “one of the most memorable releases to come out of Australia that the WORLD truly needs to hear”. 2006 also saw him appear on the acclaimed “Beathedz Connection Vol. 1” (Obese) by Melbourne’s own Jase. In 2007 13th Son returned with his sophomore effort “Our Lives”, a soul laden long player featuring production from M-Phazes (Wax Reform), Jase (Beathedz/Nubreed), Sereck (Def Wish Cast/Basic Equipment), Stat-D and SDub. Guests include Butta Verses (US), Spit Syndicate (Syd), Trace Elements (Gold Coast), Fame (Syd) and Tam Morris. 13th Son’s second album OUR LIVES (Grindin/CSR/Destra) in-stores now. 13th Son is currently at work on the follow up to Our Lives, titled AURORA AUSTRALIS. 13th Son is a Sydney MC with 9 years of experience under his belt. Previously part of 3-man outfit Fathom, 13th son has appeared on the Australian hip-hop compilation Home Brews vol. 2 (released through Mds) and the independant compilation Basic Equipment, the companion to the ABC TV documentary of the same name. He has also released a tape with Fathom in 1997 that is still regarded as ahead of it’s time. 13th Son has also supported US acts DJ Disk, Mystic Journeymen, Latyrx, Blackalicious, Moka Only, Souls of Mischief and Ugly Duckling. IN CRIME, a major representative of Hardcore HipHop/Rap from Western Sydney with a unique and untouchable style…..Santiago AKA 2.L.O.C.O. IN CRIME has been involved in the culture of hip hop since the mid 90s. In that time he has made a name for himself as an avid graffiti writer, emcee, battle DJ and producer. His first demos Underworld Figure Volumes 1 and 2 were released in 1999.<br /> Since then 2.L.O.C.O. has been refining his style as a hardcore street emcee representing Sydneys West. His criminally motivated and uncensored lyrics have earnt him a large fanbase of supporters who can it get enough of his hard hitting rhyme style. From 2000 until 2004 2.L.O.C.O. spent time overseas in Spain, Portugal and France where he performed alongside a number of local and international hip hop artists at festivals and hip hop jams.<br /> Back on Australian shores 2.L.O.C.O. released Australia’s first artist mixtape Slow Smoking: The Smugglers Mixtape. The 2004 release sold in excess of 1500 copies in both Australia and overseas. Following the success of the mixtape 2.L.O.C.O. performed at numerous shows across Sydney, building his fanbase and reputation. Throughout the years he has been affiliated with respected graffiti crews such as BRP, 76, KOS, 210, and KM; 2.L.O.C.Os live shows are full of energy, aggression and enthusiasm for the Australian hip hop scene.In late 2006 2.L.O.C.O. released his debut full length album Pockets Full Of Dirt independently and self distributed through his record label Hoodlum Status Records. 2Face, (born in Sydney but raised in the US and Canada), is an MC and DJ who now calls the Northern Beaches his home. Since his live debut in 2006, he has performed all over Australia and has released three successful solo albums and one collaborative project with Decypher Us. 2Face’s diverse range of styles has allowed him to share the stage with Hip-hop heavyweights such as Obie Trice, Common and Swollen Members, as well as Electronic juggernauts such as The Bag Raiders, Aston Shuffle and Timmy Trumpet. In 2013-2014, 2Face snagged the #1 spot on the JJJ Unearthed Hip-hop charts a total of 4 times. His music has been promoted heavily on stations such as Raw FM, The Edge 96.1 and FBI radio and he is sponsored by Menace Clothing Company and Madcity Clothing. 2Face’s global vision has inspired him to collaborate with artists from The US, Canada, China, Korea, The UK, Portugal, Africa, Chile, New Zealand and Australia. Following a successful tour in Peru, he returned to South America in November 2014 to perform shows in Chile and Brazil. With an aim to unify Sydney’s underground Hip-hop scene, 2Face launched his monthly event in Manly, ‘CYPHER @ BRKLYN’.
