Old School Boom Bap
D-Man – Blacktown inhabitant D-MAN also released a few singles that fell off the face of the earth, probably he went for the pop jugular and failed. He then nobly re-appeared to disappear again with another single a few years later.
Released a number of commercilly oriented, mainstream rap singles and an album which dissapeared.
The Three Shades Of Black track is about the white man invading Australia and the struggles of black youth in the 90’s.
Produced by DJ A.S.K. D-Man was a original member of West Side Posse before releasing a string of hip hop/dance 12”s in the early 90’s
Sad story though as tragically D-Man was lost a sea while fishing a few years ago.
RIP D-Man. – Dayle Dickson
