Kuda, Likz & Taktix – Wasting Time

Kuda: Brendan Kapambwe, also known as “Kuda,” is a 19-year-old Producer/Artist of Melbourne, Australia. The young Artist of Zambian and Zimbabwean descent has a gift for seamlessly blending smooth melodies with Afro/Club production, and exhibiting a unique coolness while doing so. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Burna boy, Not3s and Byoung.

Taktix: TakTix otherwise known As DJ TakTix By some is a DJ, Producer, Artist of Samoan/Mauritian background from the South East Of Melbourne.

Likz: “Donlikz” Otherwise widely known as Likz by most of his followers is an Afroswing Artist. Coming from a Polynesian background being raised in New Zealand, He has been able to bind his traditional culture with that of the African Afroswing culture. Doing this has allowed him to experiment and play with melodies within his music. Taking influence from the ‘Afroswing’ culture that is widely dominant in the UK from an early age has allowed him to perfect his craft and empower him to be a driving force for the Australian Afroswing Community to which he has the most passion in growing.

Wasting Time is a collaborative afro swing/hip hop jam from Melbourne producers Taktix and Kuda, with Likz supplying the wavy vocals. Kuda, organising the project wanted a cultural melting pot of sound with a specific club appeal. The track draws influence from afro swing, contemporary R&B with trap-inspired percussion.
